As you may know, I volunteer at a few Over 50s activity
centres across the Basildon borough (Basildon, Laindon and Wickford). I hold the 2 hour art classes at the venues
which are aimed at total beginners through to artists who wish to brush up on
their skills. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the classes offers members
the ideal environment to create a masterpiece.
The classes cover various medias including acrylic,
watercolour and pastel as well as learning drawing skills and techniques.
From time to time members are invited to exhibit their artwork locally, either
as a group or individually. Members have also attended various art trips
organised by the centre.
The centres also benefit from ample free parking,
